January 8, 2017: Sea glass beach combing

The key to finding all the good sea glass:  Go in the winter when it's too cold for anyone else to collect it.   We found so many pieces in beautiful colors I had never found before.  We also got to see another gorgeous sunset!  It was worth stumbling and sliding across the ice field leading to the beach.  I can't believe I haven't learned yet to ALWAYS bring my ice cleats with me, because you never know when you're going to be walking on treacherous terrain.
