January 18, 2017: In the Light

Tonight at Awana, we sang "In the Light" by dc Talk.  This used to be one of my favorite songs, and as many of you know, there is an absolutely ridiculous "music video" that I made when I was in high school of me singing the song.  If you haven't seen this video, count your blessings because you can't un-see it once you have.  It's funny to me how songs bring you back to very specific moments.  With this one song, which I haven't heard in years and years, I was immediately flooded with memories of making iron on t-shirts for a concert, road tripping in the youth group van, and sister jam sessions in the car.
