My friends and I are running a half marathon at the Pyramids next weekend. We headed to Montazah this morning to get in a little sunshine and green scenery on our training run. We saw some men pruning the palm trees. I had heard that the men just climb straight up the trees when they harvest dates, but I hadn't been able to see it yet. Pretty cool!
