December 19, 2016: Winter hikes
Staying here for Christmas rather than going home has been tougher than I thought it would be. Having places like this to hike all break makes it a tad bit easier.
I feel ya. I really wanted to be home this Christmas, as I have missed the last four of them. I was all set to go and my company nixed my plans. But the experience caused to really rethink my employment. I am going to try to find something that gets me home more often, and definitely on Christmas.
I hear ya! Life isn't all about working! At the end of my life I want to be able to look back and see that I took every opportunity I had to love the people around me, show them who Jesus is, and take advantage of experiencing life! That can definitely be done at work, but it's important to soak up time with people who love you! I hope you find something. I know my parents would love having you around more!
