July 2: Land of the Midnight Sun

Some people call Alaska "Land of the Midnight Sun."  That's cute.  Except when you are trying to sleep.  We watched a movie tonight and in the movie one of the characters goes into her room to sleep.  She turns the light off and it gets dark.  We all laughed because.. that doesn't happen to us anymore.  We haven't seen darkness for about a week.
