I don't eat a lot of leafy greens, but I'm fairly certain these aren't baby leaves of spinach... Clearly I don't have any other guess at what they might actually be, but my money is on something non-spinach related.
I think they are rambutans! And they taste and look pretty similar to lychee after you peel them! I tried one in college, assuming this is the same thing.
I was going to to guess lychee, but I don’t think they even have as much ‘hair’ on them...did you buy and eat it??
